What are the Minimums for Usborne Books & More?

What are Usborne Books & More?

Usborne Books & More is a reputable company that specializes in selling high-quality children’s books through independent consultants.

These consultants play a vital role in promoting literacy among children by organizing book fairs, home shows, and events to showcase the diverse range of Usborne books.

What are the Minimum Requirements to be a Consultant?

First, let me say, that there are NO minimums to stay a consultant. If you decided after joining you wanted to take a three-month break, fine. You can place an order whenever you’re ready.

What are the requirements to be Active?

Active with UBAM (Usborne Books & More) is $500 every three months or every quarter. Active only really affects you if you are an Educational Service Representative or ESR. An ESR works with schools and libraries and MUST maintain $500 every quarter to keep their schools and libraries intact.

Otherwise, as long as you are a consultant and not a team leader or above, you can go in and out of being active.

When you join, you get the consultant website free for your first 6 months. After that, you must pay $8 a month for the website for you or anyone else to use to order. Or, after 6 months of being inactive (no sales) you can repurchase the kit. At 12 months with no sales, you can purchase the kit again, either under your current sponsor (the person you joined) or you can join a new person’s team.

What are the incentives to be Active?

Every month, the Home Office has Home Office Challenges (HOC). We refer to these as HOC 1 and HOC 2. Each month, you get HOC 1 if you have $1,000 in sales by the end of the month. You’ll receive HOC 2 if you get $2,000 in sales and 1 new recruit. HOC 1 and HOC 2 are things either related to the business or just fun things to have in your life. My favorite HOC reward was a HUGE branded Cutting Board.

What are the Requirements outside of being a Consultant?

If you are promoted to Team Leader, you have personal sales requirements and group sales requirements. You must maintain $1000 a quarter in personal sales and $4000 in group sales. Group sales include you as the team leader and the immediate consultants underneath you.
